Dr. Goreham teaches Environmental Sociology (SOC 431/631) and is involved with the NDSU Natural Resource Management program. He teaches Community Development (SOC 405/605) and is co-director of the NDSU Community Development minor. Both of these courses include components that address disaster preparedness and emergency management. His research interests include community economic development issues and a wide range of voluntary organizations, including faith-based voluntary organizations active in disaster (VOADs).
